Twenty-six-year Food Network veteran Tyler Florence has captivated millions of viewers on numerous hitshows, including Emmy nominated “Tyler’s Ultimate,” and “The Great Food Truck Race,” heading into its16th season, among many others. His reach and influence extends well beyond his cooking shows, as hehas authored 16 cookbooks (with a new one to be released in Spring 2024) and built an ever-expandingbusiness across many platforms.

A proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University ’94, '04 Hon, and a two-time James Beard Awardnominee for Best Chef West Coast, Tyler launched his award-winning flagship restaurant, WayfareTavern, over a decade ago. Tyler Florence Fresh, his outpost in San Francisco International Airport, alsoserves the best of his signature dishes. His newest San Francisco restaurant, Miller & Lux, is a WestCoast classic steakhouse, located in the new Chase Arena, home of the 2022 NBA Champions, theGolden State Warriors.

In 2017, Tyler created a full-stack production company, Monarch Collective, Inc. His debut filmUncrushable, a documentary about the Northern California wildfires, was the catalyst for the company;since then, he has produced content for television and digital media, launched a successful onlinecooking class platform and created advertising/marketing videos for a variety of well-known clientsincluding The Venetian Resort, The Four Seasons, Red Bull, See’s Candies, Purdue Poultry and TheFood Network/Discovery.

Tyler’s insatiable quest for what’s current and interesting in the food and lifestyle space has alwayspositioned him at the forefront of new trends, gaining him a large and engaged social media following.

He calls Corte Madera, California home, where he lives in an 1890’s-era Bernard Maybeck home with hiswife and children.
